Results!

Results are finished and will soon be posted at http://bces.sites.fcps.org/. Please click on the link to find a full list of 1 mile and 5K results.

Also, to let you know there were 497 registered runners for Saturday's event. Ballenger Bobcats has 101 students and 29 staff members participate. Tuscarora Timberwolves had 73 students and 16 staff members. Many more staff, parents, and volunteers helped to make the day a success. We collected tons of canned foods for the Manor Parish Food Bank and raised lots of money for the Food Bank and both Tuscarora and Ballenger Creek's Physical Education Departments. We were so very pleased to see so many people come out and show how important their health is to them. We try to communicate to our students all the time that in the end it does not matter where you finish, first, fifth or two hundred and ten, what matters is if you are taking care of yourself and staying healthy! We hope everyone had a great time staying health on Saturday! We look forward to seeing you next year!

First I want to thank everyone for making today's event such a huge success! We had over 500 runners, wonderful families and friends that came out to support and make the race so great! Stay tuned for race results. They will be up in a few days.

Thanks again to everyone! BCES, TuES, students, staff, families, neighbors and fellow runners who know it is important to "Run for the Health of It!"

"Run for the Health of It" Logo

I have an amazing older sister. Some of you know her and already agree. My sister supports everything I do and is always there to help me. She is not only an amazing sister, but an amazing graphic designer. She lives in Philly, but helps me by creating designs when I need her. Months ago I gave her the race's info and she came out with our eye catching design. She is humble and never wants or needs credit, but I know she deserves it. I want to say thank you to her for taking time to help us and thank her for being the amazing sister that she is! Thanks Krisitie!
